Bambu Lab X1-Carbon is Arguably one of the Best 3D Printers

Bambu Lab X1-Carbon – The level of originality of many users multiplied extremely the day 3D printers appeared . These devices let you to bring all kinds of ideas to life, and while the learning curve is quite steep at first, once you get the droop of these machines the potentials are endless. And though there are still some limits when it comes to building things, people like Bambu Lab are working to bring the impossible to life.

Bambu Lab X1-Carbon, multicolor printer

When printing with filament, printers usually have a spool of filament that is responsible for forming the pattern that we print. There are mechanisms that allow you to use more than one spool to produce prints of different colors and thus obtain products with a higher quality finish, even eliminating the task of painting.

The problem with this  multi-roll systems is that they are not chiefly easy to calibrate and set up, plus not all printers meet these requirements. Well, X1-Carbon has made things easy with a fully integrated solution that, combined with an extremely complete software, allows us to choose, with a very filmic interface, which coils we need to use for our job.

The most interesting thing is that its patented system allows for a total of 16 spools, so we can have a total of 16 different colors for our creations. And most importantly, the machine is responsible for rejecting small pieces of filament to avoid the chromatic contamination that we would get from one filament to another. Thus, the colors are rendered perfectly, and there are no fuzzy merging points of one color with another.

Equipped With Many Technologies – Bambu Lab X1-Carbon

Technologically, the X1-Carbon is impressive, as it has a large number of parts. For example, the internal camera allows us to remotely monitor what is happening in the car. Thus, able to see the printing status from mobile phone.

At the same time, the extruder is skilled of reaching 300 degrees, and the chamber is able to maintain a remain temperature inside 60 degrees.

In terms of leveling and precision, the Bambu X1-Carbon has a self-leveling system with Lidar assistance, a vibration elimination system, spaghetti effect detection to automatically cancel failed jobs and a system to resume work in case of power loss.

Fast, Very Fast Accuracy

But if there’s one thing that surprises about the X1-Carbon and the entire X1 line from Bambu Labs, it’s the print speed. The most best  example can be found in the printed test of the famous articulated dragon model, a template commonly used as a test and which X1-Carbon manages to complete in just 2 hours and 32 minutes. This showcases the incredible speed at which it is able to work, a quality that many look for when buying a 3D printer as it allows for greater profitability when creating more designs.

How Much Does It Cost?

After going through a Kickstarter funding period, Bambu Lab is now offering the option to buy any version of its X1, although it is currently accepting orders to start shipping later this month.

The price of the X1-Carbon is 1129 euros, while the X1 costs 939 euros. The X1 Carbon is the most advanced model with an aluminum body, hardened steel extruder and nozzle, built-in activated carbon filter, 1080p camera, and fiberglass and carbon filament compatibility. If you want to start with a 4 spool dispenser, you’ll have to add €329 for an AMS 4 thread concentrator.

Conclusion

The level of originality of many users multiplied extremely the day 3D printers appeared . These devices let you to bring all kinds of ideas to life, and while the learning curve is quite steep at first, once you get the droop of these machines the potentials are endless. And though there are still some limits when it comes to building things, people like Bambu Lab are working to bring the impossible to life.
